Confirmed Signing Tyler Dibling

Pretty much! Teams will naturally look to double up on Grealish early on, but that will leave holes elsewhere in the defense for our other attackers to exploit. It happened last year with N'Diaye, but instead of Harrison/Doucoure as the spare man it will now be the likes of N'Diaye himself and Dibling.

That leaves teams with a defensive conundrum of how to cover us off, especially on the counter.

I like the idea that Brighton didn't know about £100m, treble-winning Jack Grealish before yesterday's match.

They weren't caught off guard by that performance, he's just quite hard to deal with.

Not on twitter , it’s my opinion, if Moyes didn’t want to play a 25m striker who has scored goals for Villarreal and others I can’t see him playing an inexperienced youngster, I could be wrong but I just don’t think it’s in Moyes make up to do that.

This signing has me more excited than the Grealish one, as I think we are signing a serious, serious talent. As a young lad, he’ll have to adapt to Moyes tough love approach and he’ll no doubt be trying to over impress early on, meaning he’ll chew the ball when he should release etc, but that’s to be expected from a 19 yr old kid. I worry for Tarkowski, Keane & Branthwaite in training tho, as they’ll all be out for weeks with twisted blood, playing against Ndiaye, Grealish & Dibling on the daily.

Think the Saints were also hoping for a bit of a transfer bidding war with other clubs to come in and inflate the fee. We were lucky that never happened.

Fair play to us for holding our nerve but it was a risk imo.
Is it a worry nobody else is in for him? Genuinely never seen him play so don't know what to expect really.

But he did when he needed to. Make no mistake, if we had the same issues yesterday as we did last Monday, and Aznou was healthy, he'd play the next match.

The only problem with that is if myklo gets injured again Moyes won’t play the new kid it’ll be Garner at LB, I suppose the rumoured interest in Ake could solve that problem.

Well we dont know that. I dont see why we'd buy a back up LB (that the manager agreed to buy) and prefer to play a right footed cb there instead.

The ake rumours were rubbished.
