Is this actually even a genuine thing that people are annoyed about?

Who's banged on about him using a bottle? Haven't heard anyone. It said dive left above the 50/50 so he must have already made his mind up which surprised me. I would have thought they'd get clues from players run up. Maybe not. He's ace regardless

Seen loads of pundits and rival fans whining about it.

What was the atmosphere like inside the ground
The atmosphere both inside and outside the ground was incredible. The stadium design has lost nothing from the Old Lady, except for the stomping on the wooden floor! South stand about as steep as I've ever seen in a stadium. And of course, no bloody pillars! 😆

They still need to sort the catering and bar area - still almost impossible to get a pint at half time! I think they need to take this match as the first 'serious' event to review.

Bloody amazing day though! 💙💙💙

….its a difficult one, I actually thought he was poor for periods of yesterdays game, lethargic and giving the ball away and then he produces these absolutely wow moments, going past players like they’re not there.

I find it difficult to assess him. He has everything a modern player needs but struggles to consistently impact a full game. Talent, I like the side story that his parents are deaf and he grew up communicating to them with sign language.
He is still a young player and still developing.
I remember supporters being more patient with young players , looking for good points rather than the bad ones.
How many players have we seen over the years develop over 1 or 2 seasons from dubious prospects to outstanding players ?
I would suggest very many.
Iroegbunam could very well be an outstanding player for us , he has the ability . He could also fail to deliver that potential to the full .
What he needs most is time and some forbearance.

Was a great atmosphere . Brighton fans on their forum saying we were silent apart from the penalty save ! Perhaps they mean their own fans. Only heard them once .

They were quite vocal in the first half, a few different chants about their own team/players, and an odd "is this the Emirates" when we were quiet, followed by a collective "shhhhhhh" which did sound quite effective tbf. Highlighted the quiet spells. They shut up when we scored the first though, hardly heard a peep out of them after that.

Yes Echo that. It was quite obvious what they were singing, from sitting above them
