Everton have 2 world-class players (both are English, remarkably) and that made a huge difference today.
I thought Michael Keane played well, and Garner capped his first two displays with a humdinger of a strike. There is clearly work to do in a number of respects, but credit to the players today for not letting the occasion get to them.

Finally getting in bed after going the game today. Grealish and dewsbury hall are gonna be boss together this season, pickford boss as always, keane played great too.

Most importantly though the best performance today even over grealish was the fans. Before the game, during it, half time singing whilst trying to get a drink in the uncoordinated chaos of the food/drinks and still singing leaving the stadium.

Boss seeing dad so happy hes standing on his seat waving his flag singing and dancing to every everton song even as a pensioner.

I accidentally ended up on the first page, Honestly was impulsive in my vaulting , no shame in having concerns and I'm sure I've made numerous predictions that never materialized. Yeah let's just savor a well fought win. Thanks you as well

I wouldnt condone a player getting sent off for arguing with a ref about a bad decision but one day someone is going to lose their rag and say something to a ref about these ridiculous handball pen decisions. It’s just not football. A stance has been to be made to show them what a farce it is.

They will just argue that they do let some of them go, but those decisions are reserved for top 6 clubs only.

I don't understand the lack of fans Tim Iroegbunam has ,I though he was the better player in the middle and still a kid .So I gave him MOM it was too obvious to give it to Jack ,who I think actually gets the fans ,no prima donna this guy just class .I do wonder where the place for Illi is when this lad arrives from Southampton . Alcaraz is only fit as back up and never seems interested to me , Dwight I fear may move on .
