Got the soccer bus from L1, seamless, 10 minutes tops. Coming back I tried it again, absolute nightmare, took me nearly an hour from queuing to drop off at Moorfields, needs to be dedicated bus lanes

I saw three traffic wardens on my way to the ground today, checking vehicles on the cul-de-sacs which are sandwiched between Stanley Road and Commercial Road, in case anyone has any plans to park in that area.

My gripe is if they’re going to close side roads close them at the top of the road as well as the bottom. Turned down Bankhall street (?) to get to boundary street closed at boundary street but not the other end, I wasn’t the only one there was a big line of cars behind me. Got out the told the lad in his Hi-vis coat to tell his boss close both ends you idiot.

I’m visiting the stadium for first time on Wednesday night - travelling from down near Wolverhampton. I’ve booked parking at Beers Timber and Building Supplies - what’s traffic like around there? Want to get there early but limited with work. Absolutely cannot wait to see the stadium with my own eyes.
