2025/26 Iliman Ndiaye

A quality player with real goal scoring ability. Just wish he would play the simple pass after doing 3 of the oppos players with skill when outside the box. When that skill gets him to the edge of the box or inside then crack on lad & have the shot but otherwise look to play in the striker. Assists matter. Grealish today was a prime example of that & should really have had 3 assists today if McNeil took his shot properly.
The best attacking players have impressive assist stats too. He’s a little too selfish at times. Add that final pass into his game & the sky is the limit for the lad.

I wonder if he moves into the centre with Grealish/Dibling wide.

Not as a 10, more as a 2nd striker as he'll get a lot of goals but not many assists.

He’s a feisty bugger too, stronger than he looks, always manages to get his body between the defenders and the ball not afraid to put himself about.
He has an incredible ability to get under bouncing balls and just hold off his marker. Exception body strength and positioning. Just love watching someone with so much natural ability. Genuinely elite if he can add a more consistent final ball after the magic.

Yep. And also, hopefully he'll have Grealish and an actual RW to pull strings with, which can only help. And a settled midfield 2 behind him. Oh, and an actual full back would be nice and would mean he wouldn't get doubled up on as much.

I think others need to give him more support mind, there were times today that while he could improve his decision making, he wasn't getting help. But I'm optimistic that will improve.

I wouldnt be surprised, its where he made his name. His strike rate playing behind the striker is quite good, and his skill set is not a typical wingers, its all about dribbling in tight space. Perfect for any of the 3 spots, but especially in the middle.

Really think we will see the best of him now we have a higher quality of player around him. Clubs can’t double up on him with Grealish on the other side.

Just needs to attack space, hopefully once we’ve got Dibling right then he can go back to the left and start attacking those gaps between full backs and centre halves. Proven today the Grealish will find you if you do.
