I'm not sure that's entirely on him though mate. I thought he did well today, and was better than Dewsbury Hall. Needs to be more consistent but is definitely a threat on possession.

We need a good number 6, not sure if we can get one this window but that would really help.

I suspect Armstrong getting a TDD loan move, if we manage to bring in another midfielder. No use keeping the lad here, if he's not getting minutes.

There will also be suspensions and injuries. Also, I can see Garner getting the nod over Aznou in that left back position when Myko's not available. Aznou imo will only be a bit part player over the course of this season.

Still a few poor decisions on the ball but overall he was much improved and we benefited from his strength in the midfield a lot today. Credit to the lad.

FYI not rating a player doesn’t mean you literally don’t think he’s capable of having a half decent game ever.

I think we got away with his ball watching and lack of awareness in the first half today. The midfield was often a gaping hole that they walked through too easily. Let’s hope he can be coached that part of the game because we won’t always get let off the hook.

I’d still like another two midfielders personally.

That’s because he’s desperate for Brownhill to waste wages on. Tim was great today before tiring badly.

More than justified a place on the bench. Young players need to see a pathway through to the first team rather than being blocked by journey men.

I really don't know about 'Villa Tim', he's strong, brave and can beat a man, but, his concentration lets him down. He's young, perhaps this can be rectified on the training ground.
