Tarkovsky has been all over the place today, very nearly cost us the lead there, if not for some superb goalkeeping from Pickford.

It's always the danger with older players. I hope this is not what we are now witnessing with Tarkowski. If he isn't reliable, he's a liability. That's how he made a career for himself. It certainly wasn't for his finesse or Beckenbauer-esque sorties up field...

We haven’t turned into world beaters since Monday like, but that’s not a bad half against Brighton, that.

Tarks has been wobbly, and Gueye hasn’t been his usual reliable self either. Tim has done well but on a yellow he can’t play the full 90 one way or another.

If it stays like this I’d be chucking Charly/Armstrong and Beto on about 70 mins for Tim and Barry. Drop KDH back and get him dropping diagonals over their booked FBs.

Garner getting targeted all day, might need McNeil later in the game to help out.

Attacking wise we look much better, Grealish hugging that touch line really helps us move the ball up quickly.

He is an important player for us but is aging.

Branthwaite makes him a better player

Tarkowski quite red blooded as a defender, needs a calming presence to balance him out
