First Premier League game at the brand new stadium of a founding club who are one of the most successful in English history and Sky Sports are at Craven Cottage for the United game.

Been irrelevant for 35 years, mate. We've released videos celebrating seventh, eulogised a manager who won nothing in 11 years as a legend, clapped a self-serving venal nostalgist as he ran the club into the ground, survived numerous relegation scares, and basically stunk out the gaff since George Bush - the first one - was in power.

The only way we become relevant is by running the club properly, spending big money on great players, and winning football matches consistently. Today will be the start of this process, one hopes.
