I'm quite interested to find out whether the people I sat with at the Roma game were in their ST seat?

I had two very quiet people either side of us, a young family behind and Andy Burnham in front.

I've sat with many of the same people for the last 26 years, and this will take a bit of getting used to. I know I won't feel as comfortable as I did at Goodison, and Im concerned that will have an effect on the volume of my support today. I can be quite vociferous at times, but a lot of that has come from being so comfortable with my surroundings.

It feels a little bit like turning up, alone, to a works Christmas party a month into the job.

Feels a bit like preparing to go to an away match at the moment, lack of routine I suppose.

What a fine achievement it has been to document the whole process from start to finish, in your inimitable way. Thanks and Well done Baz.

However, I agree with some others that your work is not yet quite done. In fact, in some ways we enter one of the most important phases. We know that now it will all be about how we acclimatise to our new surroundings and our new matchday habits for getting to and from the ground etc. Therefore, it would be great if you could get the drone up to show how the fans arrive/depart. Identify any pinch points for the cars/buses/walking fans to help us iron them out asap, by both educating the fans..... and to get the authorities to pull their finger out to sort any junctions, bus lanes or access points, with the kind of video evidence that makes it clear where the issues that need intervention are.

Or you could just go for a well-earned pre-match skinful of course haha.

Just picking up from points in other posts. I’ll be saying hello to everyone around me and be learning a few names. I also won’t be scared to act and support as I did at Goodison, regardless of my neighbours.

I’ll be at Block 240, Row 44, Seat 208 if you want to avoid me.

Lash a load of Guinness down your neck, stuff a few burgers down (making sure you have some tomato sauce and mustard stains on your top, then go to your seat staggering and farting with your fly undone. Swear profusely throughout the game and leave without speaking to anyone. Next game turn up tidy and say your twin brother attended last time because you were on your hols and said the seat was great. They will be so grateful it is your seat and not you ‘twins’ that they will welcome you like a long lost friend.

Today is the day ladies and gentlemen. As I said with the Roma game, everyone please enjoy but also patience and understanding is importance.

Not everything will go smooth today, but let us all enjoy today and every other day at our new wonderful ground. UTFT!

Great shout this, we can’t let any issues with turnstiles, long queues or the bars running out of stuff or whatever ruin what is a momentous day. The staff are only trying to do their jobs and it’s new for them, so patience is a must.

What we can and should affect today and every day going forward is the noise and atmosphere inside the stadium hitting the pitch.

Let’s make the world shake, let Brighton know it’s a proper game, support every single man in royal blue and scream for every ball, throw in, tackle, pass or foul to properly start our journey at BMD.

Let’s make BMD even better than Goodison ever was.

Thought I would be more excited but I think cause I was there vs Roma has taking the excitement out of it. I am still looking forward to it and myself and my son will be getting picked up by the supporters coach at 11:15am. No drinking for me unfortunately due to a medical issues but will still hopefully enjoy the day and pleading for an Everton victory, but after last week they need to improve big style.
