Waited 40mins for a pizza from Pizza Hut the other day (via deliveroo) and when it arrived it had come out of the sealed box, and into the delivery guys bag.
Mrs went out to get it and came back in a bit sheepish with the box with the lid open, when i looked in, the driver must have literally tipped it out of his delivery bag back into the PH box……
He then came back asking for the delivery code or he couldn’t complete the delivery.

Needless to say, i then got involved, handed him back the box of slop and told him to GTF in a very direct manner using some industrial language.

Would post a pic of the abomination but the whole episode is still a bit of a sore point with ‘er in doors as apparently there was ‘no need to be like that’ with the driver, so its best i don’t ask her for the photo.

Fuming.

It’s from Pizza Hut. It’s basically dog food anyways. Delivery driver could have used it to clean their bike with before handing it over and you’d have been none the wiser.

I went to Las Iguanas for some lunch earlier. I always enjoy the food on the odd occasion I go there.

But the interior…full of AI slop.

All the cushions, some wall art and a huge banner above the kitchen, all clearly AI generated.

I won’t be going there again. Nothing says ‘come in, eat your food, pay us and fk off’ like cheaping out like this. They may as well have just printed some stock images on to A4 and stuck it up with sellotape. So cheap and tacky.

Excellent restaurant near me went the same route. Used to have a really amazing rustic run down interior than added to the charm of the place.

Dunno what the thought process is behind this. If they want to put paintings up theres plenty of good local artists who won’t charge a fortune.

Having read and agreed with many posts in this thread on the issue of noise in shared spaces, I am glad that some individuals in positions of power are starting to acknowledge that this is an issue which needs to be resolved. I still think that there is plenty of work to be done, however.
