New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Thanks for everything Baz.
Your time, your dedication, your honesty and lack of trying to flog yourself at every opportunity, and most importantly, your absolute love of what you were doing and why you were doing it.
For us.
You were there Day 1.
You made Shoalway a name to be loved amongst blues with your love for her and her efforts.
You were there recording one of the biggest events in our clubs illustrious history, footage that generations of blues that are still to be born can watch and fall in love with all over again.
For all of the above and more, I thank you from the bottom of my big blue heart.
You, Sir, will go down as a bit of a legend for what you've done.

Now go and enjoy all it can give us in the future.

Thanks again Baz x💙x
Beautiful &...[Poor language removed] me, sooooo well deserved 💙

🔵 4 years ago the journey started, tonight it ended.
Everton FC’s new home is ready for its 1st competitive game tomorrow against Brighton.
It’s been some journey and I’ve loved every single minute of it. Thanks for joining me throughout 💙

@tommye said it better than I ever could mate, thanks for doing what you do Baz, it’s been incredible.

Your brilliant footage from day one has kept me and so many other toffees sane and provided real hope, even when, at times, I thought there was none.

The club should be looking after you and the other drone lads, a proper beacon during the dark times and I hope we all get the result we want and deserve tomorrow.

Up the Shoalway, up Dan Meis, up farhad, but most of all up the F**kin toffees!

My fellow Evertonians: today is not just another matchday - it is a moment that will be written into the illustrious history of our great club forever. For generations, we sang, we roared, we suffered, and we celebrated at Goodison Park... together. That historic old ground gave us memories that we will all remember and cherish. But now, we stand at the dawn of something new - a magnificent new home on the banks of the Royal Blue Mersey and a chance to carry the spirit of the Blues to the future... together.

When the boys in blue walk out onto this pitch, they will look to us: they'll look to the noise, the colour, the passion in the stands. They’ll need us - every last one of us - to encourage them if and when things are not going well. We Evertonians, as the twelfth man, have got our team over the line time and time again.... together. The Palace game under Frank was perhaps the most memorable recent match in which we dragged our team over the line with our support, but the Bayern Munich game of '85 is the Everton memory I cherish the most. I remember the smug former Watford goalie, Ben Foster, saying that we Evertonians had started to become an asset... to opposing teams! Let's prove him and his ilk wrong today.

Let's make Bramley-Moore Dock a fortress from the very first whistle.

This is our time. Our new home. Our new legacy. Let's write it together. UTFT!
