The Sack Race 25/26

Potter is proof that "the Brighton model" is not to be coveted as much as people make out

Most of their decisions, from signings to managerial appointments, just wouldn't work at proper, big clubs with a sense of history and ambition

Not long for this world is he

‘Not long for this world’ seems a bit harsh for just being a bad football manager mate

Throwing it out there (without having seen all of the earlier posts..).. with the way Villa played today, as well as last week, Emery could be an underdog to go if results and performances don't pick up quickly?

I wasn't against it at the time, did terrific stuff in Sweden and I always respect folk travelling to test and improve themselves. Also did a very good job at Brighton though its starting to look the systems they put in place deserve much of the credit.

Thought it was very odd to choose west ham over us with the worst stadium in the country, that decision will haunt him as he looks like failing badly there and will likely go the way of the likes of own coyle afterwards
Speaking to an Irons fan today, he said Potter is in real trouble because he's not able to get them to score goals, so he is reverting to be more defensive.

The issue is, the more defensive they've been, the more goals they're conceding. The keeper is shaky, and the defenders can't use their feet.

He doesn't think he will be able to get a tune out of them, and the board won't be investing in players as they overspent last season.
