VAR

City keeper today came out of the box and the ball hit his arm in exactly the same way as Tarks. Play on and no VAR inspection.

Needless to say Fletcher & McCoist agreed and said his arm was by his side etc. No mention of the Tarkowski decision at all in the discussion, because we aren't one of the Sky 6 and therefore don't matter.

15 year old wonderkid Max Dowman with a disgraceful dive to 'win' a penalty versus Leeds, VAR fails to 'spot' it conveniently. Can't have a Scab 6 wonderkid being shown to be a cheat after all
Yep. No different to what Califiori (can be bothered to look up the correct spelling) did in the first half, for which a penalty wasn't given. He kicked the defenders standing foot. But that's one of the (many) problems these days - the acceptance that 'the forward was clever and left his foot in' is ok

Great post. Cheating is actively encouraged from the clubs to the media as you say. The most annoying media quote 'there was contact so he was entitled to go down' even if its a feather strength contact. The biggest tell tale when a player has dived is when they are rolling around screaming in pain whilst glancing upwards every now and then. How referees with their experience can't see this is either complete incompetence or something more sinister

Never knew having your arm in front of your chest made you bigger. Gonna cancel my gym sub now and just walk around with my arm in a sling.
