Today’s Football 25/26 Season

We could have been kings in our own city. They were on their knees. All we needed was a half decent owner, for BK to hand over the reins. But no...

People out there think our relationship with Liverpool is kind of like Spurs to Arsenal, or maybe West Ham to Chelsea. I'd say it's now closer to 1860 Munich compared to Bayern. Our owners haven't changed a thing.

Liverpool are about to team Isak up with Ekitike. Look forward to seeing them take on Tarks et al on the 20th Sept. Does that not infuriate you?
Have no interest in Liverpool. Nothing club might as well support McDonalds. They are a brand.

City have done a gradual squad degradation without realising it. Players coming in recently aren’t anywhere near the levels of De Bruyne David Silva Fernandinho Aguero Kompany. Haaland and Rodri are probably the only two exceptions.

I don’t see a better fullback there than Cancelo was for them. Marmoush isn’t as good as Alvarez. They’ve now weakened their goalkeeping position. Doku and Savinho aren’t anywhere near Sane and Sterling at their peak.
Yeah, spot on with all of that. Transitions, especially for top quality teams like that, are extremely difficult.

Have to say looking at that 2nd Spurs goal, no one was ready to start play further up the pitch. Trafford can’t make that pass, but I still don’t understand how Pep didn’t have this team prepared to play against a Thomas Frank team. Not a good look for him imo.

Credit to Spurs though, comfortable win for them.

Think this is the season at least one of the promoted clubs makes it. There’s been so
Much change at clubs like Brentford, Brighton and Bournemouth, and lack of change at Wolves, one of the incumbents will be relegated
