Always on a bank holiday weekend too when everyone is off.

Honestly though, there was always a risk when working on these things that stuff could get broken and the plaza has tyre marks all over it for some reason. Why the hell did they wait until Thursday to start putting this up?

It happened on Thursday, I think, when they were putting the signage up. It won’t be fixed by tomorrow.

Getting a new bit of glazing for that is going to be several weeks if not months I’d have though.

Yeah unfortunately arriving into LLS around midday, so need to be selective. Annoying really but that's the only train possible.

Ma Egertons next door to LLS does good cask ale and is only 100 yards from the shuttle bus to the ground. Obviously there is the Spoons in Lime St if that floats your boat.

Getting a new bit of glazing for that is going to be several weeks if not months I’d have though.

Hope it's sooner than that. Could they get some mirror wrap for the board if it will be there for a bit of time? Try and make it less obvious. Could always do the same to the opposite side window and stick a crest on both.

I’d imagine that most of those panes on the south stand are all the same dimensions, and you’d like to think that there are a few already made up and in storage somewhere as a contingency, ready to be installed at short notice for circumstances like this.

It’s getting the man-power / machinery on site to install them on a bank holiday weekend that’s possibly the bigger issue.

Didn't realise there was a shuttle bus either! I need to tramp down to BMD just to see how long but if there's a return. Is this a free service would you know? Thanks

Just while the cameras are looking at that end, I’d rather have a window cleaner pretending to clean glass that isn’t there, than a wooden board.

Anyone got a squeegee and good at miming?
All you have to do is lick your thumb and rub it against ‘the glass’ to get a spot off for a couple of hours.
