New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Interested to see how much these deals are increasing the revenue.
They talked about the stadium being a game changer and these deals with conglomerates like Pepsi and Budweiser seem to be affirming that.
Much as I like the owner of Christopher Ward being an Evertonian those type of deals did feel a bit low key for foundational partnerships.

I think what you're saying there is that elite clubs went for double decker stands on all sides as it was an income generator (although profit maximisation was always an issue even for elite clubs) and gave status.

That's getting away from the 'proper' stadium debate though. More typical - historically speaking - is what we're seeing at this new stadium.

Goodison was a great looking stadium but it could be argued that when the Park End stand was built in the 90s the aesthetic was destroyed.

In short: I dont see Liverpool at Anfield as swapping places with us in any way. I cant see the validity of that argument.

That wasn't really my argument. In fact my post was merely one of observation of an apparent reversal of Evertonian "stadium" psyche in my lifetime.
