New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

But he gives him a cardboard cup and calls it a can? and what the bleeding hell is 'chicken' about?

I thought it was an AI pish take.

Am I still asleep? Is this some weekend alcohol disturbed nightmare? This isn't real is it.

I'm talking about how in the 70s/80's (in my case), when compared to Anfield (and most of the rest of its peers) Goodison was considered to be a true football stadium (as opposed to the usual basic, mostly single tier British football grounds of the time). Whereas now, many years later, and after a whole new generation of more advanced stadia, some people are referring to our new stadium as more of a traditional football ground..... as opposed to some of the more complex stadia. In some ways, it feels like a peculiar reversal, given the history of our club as the historic innovators in multi-tiered stands etc, and also slightly misplaced as regards comparisons with the likes of Spurs.

Were double decker stadiums ever archetypal though? Lots of grounds had single tier home ends...some with just a shelf. That's also a tradition.

Maybe to Everton eyes double decker seems natural. 🤷‍♂️

I'm surorised by how many people didn't go to any of the test events. I think half of my match-going mates didn't go to any of them. I thought practically everyone would be desperate to go to sample it, and the rest would go just to help the club fulfil their test capacities.... yet quite a few have saved it for the "real thing."

Still not buying it until they relaunch the version with Ginger. Got me chemically hooked, then replaced it with sodding Pepsi Max with Mango. Because everyone was craving the flavour combination Cola and Mango and Jack Daniel’s? Then deliberately launched the caffeine free version in a bottle that looks identical to the Ginger version.

People may scoff, but these are the types of corporate sponsorships we have needed for ages. Bringing in more commercial revenue to keep out out of PSR trouble so we can compete

Suits me as I've always preferred Pepsi to coke anyways.
It’s Everton mate. Despite us bringing in two massive brands in Bud and Pepsi, it’s moan moan moan. They just can’t or won’t win. I’m with you though, great stuff. Hopefully more to come.
