Confirmed Signing Tyler Dibling

The rumours of his ‘inverted’ character & possibly leading to not settling will need careful support & management if true…

That’s the last thing either party needs is a homesick unsettled player as with his former move to Chelsea…

Hopefully that was just because that particular move came too soon.

It’s a lot of money for this not to work out.

As you mentioned yesterday. Would be absolutely fine now with bringing in that Fellows from WBA. Lets face it, we can't expect Dibling to play and perform every match at that age.

Yep he’s someone I’d be looking at myself. Right winger but complete opposite playstyle to Dibling. Think I read an article yesterday or day before saying we still want him but just wanted to get other more pressing targets in first.

The opportunity to train with and learn from Jack Grealish has to be an enticement for a player like Dibling and helps to make Everton a better place for him to develop. He should have the best of both worlds: more minutes than he'd have at most PL clubs and a great mentor.

….not sure Grealish is the type to be a ‘mentor’ but there’s plenty of good professionals at Everton to at least help him settle as it seems he’s a quiet lad.

@Zatara
You must have mentioned close on 10000 players on here ( kids and Moroccan RBs included )
You’ve posted dozens of teams with foreign sounding lads and loads of ???
You were bound to get one right in 14 years

I see we're ignoring Pickford, KDH Garner and Tarkowski. With Dibling that makes 5/11 possible starters.

Not exactly challenging is it? Or perhaps it is...

It’s an interesting strategy to pack the squad with number 10’s that like to cut in from wide while simultaneously having 0 full backs that can overlap, I must admit. Hope it pays off.

It does seem peculiar, though with Aznou on the left potentially developing into an attacking full back we may only need one attacking right back to fill the wings.

Have to remember its a project for the mid-term and not only for Moyes' 2 seasons.

Also a very low risk signing imo. If prices quoted here before are correct. Should get our money back quite easily, even if he doesn't quite make it here.

So much wrong in this.

If anything, i think Grealish is the ideal mentor for him.

Similar playing styles and I suspect he'll be the one to bring Dibling out of his shell a bit off the pitch.

Could also see Grealish revel in the role and do his best to help Dibling anyway he can.

Carsley is a huge fan of him.

Obviously he missed the last half a dozen u21 games with an injury, but didnt Carsley drop him to the u19s in March?

I'm sure he'll be the main man in the future u21 internationals.
