2025/26 David Moyes

He was practically beaming when he walked in the room, he already knew it was on, might’ve just got off the phone with the lad for all we know
Got his own laundrette, been doing amazing business the past 6 weeks. Sunk some of the cash into shares in a bearings factory, so get's replacements for his big washers even cheaper.
Working the press over as well, everyone jumping about trying to figure who deepthroat is...

but its actually Moyes, and has been all along.

Whilst Moyes mightn’t be to everyone’s taste, what a s…show it would have been if Graham Potter had taken over the squad we had in January.

To have dodged Potter and 777 in the past 12 months are minor miracles!
So happy we didn’t get potter despite his job at Brighton he’s not a great manager and could have possibly took us down last season thankfully we got Moyes.

I disagree with that last paragraph.
It’s like there is some sort of deification process among Evertonians based around the
‘Myth of Moyes’
For 4 seasons he steered us away from danger .
For 2 seasons he improved us .
Then he gave up or reached his limitations
and sat back trousering a good wedge while waiting for his best mate to hand him the United gig.
He was hamstrung by blue bills ineptitude at every stage. Not without his own limitations but if we had the money to back him then we would have achieved more

They wanted the flat structure which would have demoted Thelwell.

He elected to run Rangers & Purdy liked working with him and tagged along for the ride.
Am I right in thinking they’ve installed it ( or something similar at Roma ?
I don’t think they replaced the DoF there either?
I don’t follow Roma so I’m not sure of my facts here.

His comments today were bizarre, they were basically all super pessimistic and then he finished up with saying we were aiming for Europe. I think he's having a breakdown.
I don’t think they pessimistic at all

He walked in happy
Said again he didn’t think it was handball but he was done talking about it and we didn’t do enough to win anyway
Said he’s excited to lead us out at the new stadium for the first time but there’s no more pressure than the relegation fight
Said he would’ve liked the players in earlier obviously but we’ve got money and will buy players but we’ve not been able to get in the very best we’ve gone after yet because we don’t have Europe as a draw
Then agreed the goal is Europe but said it won’t be (I forget the word but let’s say ‘a disaster’) if we don’t get it

Don’t see where any of that is anything but realistic with a bit of optimism if anything
