This is the one. Since his name was first mentioned as being possible, he's the one I wanted most this summer.

Distinctly remember the first time I laid eyes on him last season, having never heard of him before.

Think it was a televised game early in the season against against Man Utd.

The lad is a huge, huge talent and I'm absolutely made up we are getting one of the biggest U21 talents around. I'm also delighted that we appear to have stood our ground and got it over the line rather than relent and go for a target lower down the pecking order.

Excited to see the lad play, must admit beyond vaguely hearing about Southampton shouting about him being a £100m player last year I didn’t know much about him. His highlight reels look great and people have said the right things about him, so here’s hoping he does the business for us.

Interesting thing I found was when I was trying to tell Mrs. Vaguely about how exciting the potential signing was earlier I tried to explain how badly we needed a right winger. I realised I genuinely couldn’t remember the last time we signed an actual right winger. The only name that sprang to mind was Kevin Mirallas, but that can’t be right surely? Obviously Harrison and Lindsttom were both either left wingers or attacking midfielders (and poo), so who actually was it. Can’t be Morallas surely? That feels like it was at least a decade ago? We must have signed someone since right?
