The first songs I ever heard of theirs were A Garage full of Flowers and the cover of 96 Tears on the Peel show circa 88 and liked them.
Saw them a few months after when they got some NW gigs on the back of that exposure.

They liked using the xylophone on their tunes,fortunately they also liked the organ, as was the style at the time, which was nice. Not a big fan but these two aren't bad at all :
