I must be mad. Watched the tram smash that was Monday night's match, and then sat yesterday refreshing the ticket site madly trying to get a ticket for this game. Managed to get a resale one that popped up for the lower west stand.

I think we will draw but I wont be happy about it. Need to make up for lost points against leeds. I think we will play to counter and almost play like the away side as thats the best way to beat them

No left back is a huge huge problem. Virtualy gave up one side of the pitch versus leeds because Garner was just there to be a stopper.
Brighton are a bit wiser than leeds. They'll already be planning how to make the most of a club that hasnt got a left back to select.

Half of the issue last week was players attitudes. Came out with no bite, desire, and the body language was shocking. We looked like a bunch of shrinking violets that first half and we're bullied by a team that were more up for it and more physically equipped. Hopefully the atmosphere in the new gaff will put paid to that. Brighton are also a less physical outfit, which might help us on that front

Other half of the issue was the system and the tactics, somewhat forced on us by the personnel or lack thereof. I think with Keggers in the team and no left back we have to play 3 at the back and wing backs. Hopefully Moyes picks a better strategy and has us more organised too, Monday we had zero shape to us on and off the ball. Bit more respect for our opponents perhaps also needed

Can see us winning 2-0 but a lot rests on that latter point. Pick the same team on Monday and we lose, simple as that!

Really looking forward to this season , now Retired, new season ticket holder, new owners, new ground.........Bloody hell its like groundhog day. Abysmal pre-season, looked awful vs Leeds and cannot see us getting anything vs Brighton. When will this shittiness stop !!

We weren't ready to play last week and we've done absolutely nothing this week to change it. So I think we can have a fair idea how this will go.
The passing around the back peeved me off vs Leeds, even at 1-0 down we still messed about with it. No urgency whatsoever and dont get me started on Moyes Subs
