We have core of PL experience in key areas apart from up top... Various teams other than ive named such as Wolves Forest have had good throw of the dice at "foreign" players. With success too.

The likes of Brentford Brighton seem to be able to find decent players across Europe and sell on for huge amounts.

For Brighton, Brentford and Bournemouth though they've got a proven reputation as champions league feeder clubs. That in itself attracts players who want to be one step away from a 'big' move.

We don't have that and I'm not sure of fans want it really? Never felt we've warmed to players overtly using us a stepping stone? The fans of those clubs accept it generally I think, though Brighton fans I know already starting to grow tired and yearn for more.

I know someone whos called a few things in the past who said the fee has been agreed for a while its just the add ons, sell on clauses that have been the sticking the point.

The same person did tell me that we were signing Morten Frendrup though so god knows.

Checked out Frendrup in regards to rumours, linked with Inter if they fail to get Kone off Roma which they've been turned down on but inter need to sell first and not the only one linked to them, also linked with Roma.

Links are at around the 20-25m euro mark. Would be an absolute no brainer decision to bring him in actually as he is pretty much exactly the type of centre mid we've been crying out for for about 6 years
