Did you not think you'd not lose your seat for cupties ? It's typical of the club to get it badly wrong on the comms but if you followed the stadium build it was quite well known the upper seats above the away end would be handed over for big cup-ties.Im 27 and this is my 24th season ticket so i think ive earnt the right to complain when they say i cant sit in my seat that i pay almost 1k for and instead have to pick out of random seats in worse areas of the ground. After the club didnt say i would do when i bought it and also didnt even announce the block im in on there official communicationg regarding displacing STH'ers
Ha, they must have been reading the forum - they fixed the problem.I'd be interested to know if any ForeverBlue+ members have been able to buy tickets for their ForeverBlue+ kids...
Seems like someone dropped the ball when configuring this event, and there aren't enough staff at the box office to actually look into this because of all the season ticket stuff going on.
Thanks, Everton.
Delighted in ForeverBlue+ membership so far. Worth every penny.
Absolutely not because its not directly above the away fans. Away section goes to inbetween the 6 yard and pen spot normally and my seat is 10 yards outside the 18 yard.Did you not think you'd not lose your seat for cupties ? Addiditionally the seats offered up to us were limited only for them to offere seats in all stands for members today which is ridiculousAbsolutely not because its not directly above the away fans. It wasnt listed as being it would hence the increased price compared to seats in the next blocl over.
My uncle bought his in that block and it was listed when he bought it that they would be displaced.
Eventually they sorted the problem, but by then hardly any seats left. Tried to contact the club in order to discuss the problem. Recorded message.....too busy, not taking calls, try later. It's no wonder our team is as pathetic as it is. The whole club is rotten to the core.Unbelievable that we log on this morning and the system doesn't let us buy tickets for kids with Forever Blue + membership. This lot couldn't be trusted to run a bath.
I went for the family stand, with the rationale that if no one is able to buy kids tickets, no one will be able to buy tickets in that section at all... but ultimately, I got lucky, was about to give up when they fixed it.Eventually they sorted the problem, but by then hardly any seats left. Same mate.Ha, they must have been reading the forum - they fixed the problem.
Got tickets for the four of us.
Hooray!
Do you know, I hadn't even considered that second possibility - but EFC has definitely taken a step up the cynical staircase this summer, and it wouldn't surprise me.Same mate.
I had the same problem for Roma too… Got on at exactly 10:01, managed to get mine and my old man’s but wouldn’t let me add my lads to the basket.
Then, just like today, seemed to fix itself by about 10:20.
It’s one of either 2 things (and neither would surprise me)… Gross negligence OR a money making strategy to try and sell more full price tickets before allowing kids tickets.
LoadsWhat are the chances of us non plus members getting a ticket tomorrow?
Many seats left?
That is madness. How can they not have known that if they were obliged to offer more seats to away fans in a cup game, they would have displace entire blocks so they could segregate the fans? I would also guess that this means block 223 will have to be left completely empty for cup games, as it runs seamlessly into Club View, which has its own concourse?I'm also in 223 my dad went down today and they may as well have told him to F off, no explanation given at all as to why our season tickets are now displaced ones. no mention and point of sale and even let us buy the cup tickets initially. what's worse is 223 is the second most expensive ticket price in the ground (non club access) so we are paying a premium for seats we aren't guaranteed to be able to sit in. I have now just got off the phone with them after 2 hours of waiting to be told they didnt realise that the concourse would link home and away fans. hahahahahha how can they not realise such a simple thing ? did the big open space not set off alarm bells?
The customer service team also said dont worry you can pick a seat anywhere else in the ground sounds great right? Nope, my dad got told at the ticket office that displaced STH can only purchase seats in the north or east stand behind the goal because they have to reserve the other tickets in the East and West for Membership holders because they have paid for the membership to get access. I'm sorry but in what world should a £60 membership get priority over an £880 season ticket.
Absolutely disgraceful by the club they need to sort it out immediately and offer partial refunds on season ticket prices for those that were never told they would be affected. I've had a ST for 24 years so had first choice of seats. If I wanted to sit behind the goal I would have chose to.
