If you asked neutral supporters around the country who is the best team to join a good 8/10 would say Spurs.

Of course they would, because there seen as a bigger club now. But for a 19 year old who’s still developing it’s a terrible move.

Depends on the parameters.

Bigger club , higher profile, more likely to win stuff - sure.

Likely to get game time - no.

Depends what the kid wants but academic if we can't/ won't agree a fee .

Personally I'd prefer to spend £50 million on more developed players .

Our pull power, bidding ability and needs are all very different to Spurs, especially now they have gotten rid of the fat aussie and got a proper manager in.

There has still been a profile of player that we are looking long term, but we have to marry that with some big short term issues and deal with the fact that we may not have the resources to solve all those issues or the solution may not be available.
