I don't think he's anywhere near good enough. Under Dyche everything went through him and it was the team's detriment despite there being some good moments. Belongs at clubs loitering around the drop zone, which in fairness means he's been in the right place the last few years.

I think there’s a lot of overreaction here and I think he’ll be a ‘horses for courses’ rotation player this season

When we have a lot of time on the ball and are trying to break down a stubborn defence he’s a great option to play a through ball, pinpoint cross or hit a rocket whereas Leeds was a frantic scrappy game with no quality and no time on the ball, let alone time to shift it onto your one foot and take time picking a pass

I think we’ll see plenty of Dwight, especially in home games

Likely another 'creative' line-up at the weekend with him as a left wing back and Garner on the right.

In fairness, will likely work better, but still is nowhere near acceptable.

The only way this might work at all is if Dewsbury-Hall is pulled back alongside Gueye and given a free role, and Alcaraz moved to number 10, Ndiaye on the right and Grealish left.

Anything other than that and it's another pitifully-selected XI and we'll again create nothing and will lose.

I like McNeil but he’s rubbish definitely premier league rubbish but the point being we’ve been littered with these lower premier league players and guess where we’ve been hovering last few years. New era isn’t off to a good start, signing Branthwaite was good business but feels useless if we can’t build on that. Shame we don’t have a young lukaku and couple more decent players that would attract better players here and maybe an ancelotti oh well we can all dream
