If we have Myko fit to play

Pickford
O'Brien Tarkowski Keane Mykolenko
Gana Garner
N’Diaye KDH Grealish
Beto

If not then I’d like to see Garner & McNeil/Aznou as wing backs with Barry up top.

Lost the will to care already.

To summarise -

2 keepers on the bench again
Players playing out of position
No real purpose to the play
No threat up top

Exactly like Monday and all of the pre season fixtures.

Might scrape a draw.

I feel after everything that has gone on, a lot of fans are going to be awfully deflated when it comes to Sunday!

We need at least one of the below happening:

1. 1-2 new signings done and registered before Friday midday and in the squad
2. JB / Myko back and Grealish starting
3. lower the ale costs / giving out free pints or
4. A very early goal in the first couple of minutes

None of which I can see happening.

It’s hard to see how we can go from not fit, not organised and not particularly arsed to fire-breathing, dynamic footballers in 6 days.

Actually scared of the prospect of another disjointed performance leading to silence in the ground, and we’ll be saying “It’s definitely going to be loud in there when the crowd really gets going,” after the game.

I do have hope actually, given the situation. But, again it will highlight another group of players we have assembled (regardless of manager) that only look bothered when they have been told they have to “respond” after a crap run, or need some kind of “event” to get them up for it, like a points deduction, new manager making them do a little questionnaire, impending relegation, new £800m stadium. Just trying every week would be novel.

With no new incomings or players back from injury, prioritise clean sheet (and sheets) sadly.

Just like on Monday night I'll be praying for a 0-0.

As soon as Brighton score you know it's over.

DCL might be gone but I fear the goal drought will remain.
