Can we Unlock the Relegation thread again please?

Re-opening it is actually a good idea, save us being bombarded with dozens of different threads all about the same thing.

Sort of a one stop shop for anyone that needs a bit more negativity in their life

Exactly, I'd rather that than have it bleed onto the transfer thread which is already far too long and usually off topic at the moment. It's descended into people moaning etc etc instead of actually discussing transfer rumours, mostly.

Isn't this sort of what we have just done? When I originally posted i thought the mods would just ping an unlock, but now we are a few pages in, can we just rename this thread and go with what we now have?

Again as a thread it's not about a relegation panic, per se, at this stage, it's more of an acknowledgement that there is a risk that without reinforcing the squad, we look like a team that could be down that area of the table as we lack balance, and seriously lack depth, which a few injuries immediately highlights.

If the problem isn't rectified with an influx of personnel, do you really think we will finish mid table or better?

The thread is literally calling for the re-opening of the relegation thread. Please stop with the gaslighting.

I'm not happy with how slow our transfer business is either, but it's a big jump to go from it potentially disrupting our season to actually getting us relegated.

If enough people - call it 3, I know for sure to be Evertonians request a thread dedicated to discussing Everton's relegation battle this season, then I'll open another. If nothing else so people have the option to ignore the thread.

Until then, I'll close this, and keep the other closed.

Theres plenty of threads to express concern - like the transfer one if you feel more transfers are needed to avoid a relegation scrap. Or how's the season going thread, if you think early form is troubling.

Having a dedicated relegation thread for a team that's finished 20+ clear the last 2 seasons is potty. Especially before a ball was kicked. Or after 1 game.
