Nice to have opinions, but that formation and side was not obvious. What makes you think Harrison Armstrong should be a starter?
Just think he's more physical than KDH and played deeper for Derby last season. If he thought Grealish couldn't do 90 mins then bring on KDH for 30 mins.

Penalty or not, it was the sort of game one error is enough for us to lose it. Fundamentally we created sod all, let Leeds get at us, and had no room to deal with or recover from a mistake.

Must do better. Im looking at you Moyes and Everton. Can't be going through the season in tight scrappy games hoping the rub goes your way.

Looks that way to me.
Beto was not the Beto of last season last night. It was a ‘sulky’ performance.

I think Moyes’ team selection was political. He wanted to send a clear message to the powers that be.
I think you are reading too much into it all. I am sure Moyes, for all his faults, would not do that.

Really? As soon as it happened I called penalty.
Clever you. But that is not the point, the point is that we have all seen, and will continue to see, pens not given for such. No consistence, by the ref, by VAR, and certainly some teams (not only us) get bad decisions. So, congratulations to you for being as smart as the well-paid, click bait orientated Sky pundits.

Well on reflection, at least we have hit a rock bottom performance on game 1. Im convinced it can only get better after the excuse for a football match I witnessed last night. Also might help the transfer bods get a few deals over the line these coming weeks.

It’s not weeks anymore, it’s one week and a bit

Credit to the Leeds fans for making a proper go of it last night. Definitely helped their team. On the other hand, I barely heard our away end. Not much to shout about I guess but after so many years of a closed shop on tickets it's probably gone stale. Not really a way around that as you can take tickets away from the fans who've been the most loyal.

There would be uproar if we had been refused the same pen, so I can take that decision on the chin. The first half is the most disappointing bit. We needed someone in the middle to take charge and calm it all down.
