I’d argue KDH over Armstrong but formation wise 100% agree.Should have been this last night View attachment 321875
We are struggling for bodies now, and that's with 7 signings made. We were in a bad place at the end of May, CA proven enough to DM that he was worth a shot. We're not in a position yet to be turning away capable players.I've no idea why we got Alcaraz - did he do enough last season to get a permanent move? Not at all. Maybe he's on low-ish wages and was considered "good business" due to how much money we don't have.
I actually thought we were getting on top and were gonna nick it before their pen.Half the normal defence out. Garner playing out of position.
A newly promoted team playing their first game of the season at home. What do you expect? They are going to be going full-tilt 100% in the first half. We kept them at bay. A gash penalty against us in the 87th minute gifted them the win. I never felt they looked like scoring. We put in a far better performance than Wet Spam at Sunderland, who got absolutely mullered. Keep things in perspective.
And to all the critics of Beto (not you) - what do you expect when the team is under the cosh? He needs the midfield to gain and hold possession, and to get the CORRECT supply. He did not get that last night. He will get that over a season, and score several...
Barry and Grealish weren’t in the starting XIYou actually think Doucoure, DCL and Harrison are better than Grealish, KDH and Barry? Baffling.
he'd have missed the penalty. point gained.Seen an Everton fan on Twitter asking if DCL would have won us that game.
The same player that was garbage for 90% of his time with us.
Our fan base at times absolutely baffle me.
Inevitable shout mate. We wanted him to stay and offered him a deal, he wanted different things so obviously Moyes rated him.Seen an Everton fan on Twitter asking if DCL would have won us that game.

Games last night would ruin Armstrong very quickly. They picked up on Garner and O’Briens fear in the first five mins. You could see them like rabbits in headlights and giving it to Pickford every chance they had instead of being more confident. They had KDH playing like Doucore high up the pitch but too scared to actually play it oit of defense.I’d argue KDH over Armstrong but formation wise 100% agree.
Everton, wretched from first to last, and manager David Moyes left Elland Road nursing a sense of injustice, believing there was no way James Tarkowski could get his arm out of the way of Anton Stach's shot.
In a word Bry....Yes.Didn’t see the game but where we that bad?

Leeds use Elland Road 'X factor' to beat Everton in Premier League opener
If Leeds have ambitions of staying up, the hothouse atmosphere of Elland Road could hold the key, writes Phil McNulty.www.bbc.com
