2025/26 David Moyes

Itls one thing not having players in in time, it's another to look unprepared with what you have.

The manager sets the tone and Moyes has looked arsey all summer and this team's performances are a reflection of that.

Moyes obviously feels he's unsociable.

I;d like that to be put to the test if we dont get wins in the first month of this seasons. Wins.

Do you mean “untouchable”, Dave?

🤔

'Untouchable'.

I'll be honest Moyes is getting on my tits now.

This doesn't mean I want rid but he needs to give his head a wobble.

There is justification with the transfer frustration, but keep your counsel, he's been like a petulant child all summer over transfers. The narrative been were not ready.

His public utterances and demeanor will impact on the team causing uncertainty and negativity.

Especially some of our lot who aren't the strongest mentally anyway and will use any excuse, even if it's subconsciously to go into their shells.

He's been far too sidetracked by transfers. Hopefully that resolves when all the transfer team are in place and we need less numbers.

Think though that aside last night totally on him, team set up so poorly (yes there's injuries) unprepared, not aggressive enough.

If you wait for the season to start it starts without you and we have. Again.

I agree however I don’t want him here for many more windows if he’s going to do this. It’s his job to coach the team to be ready for the start of the league and his inability to do his job has tossed away one game already and is almost guaranteed to cost us our next few games in the league.

Blob on

Is his fault, and the fault of his assistants, that we looked so lethargic and generally unprepared last night. He can't hide from that.

Whats funny is that he actually stressed after the game that he wasn't looking for excuses - so what was that in pre season all about?

He should never have had a contract handed to him for the next two seasons.

This has happened because, ultimately, TFG blinked when we had Dyche and couldn't or wouldn't risk the possibility of relegation.

If they'd been counselled wisely then they'd have held their nerve and we'd have had the manager they had lined up in charge now.

So now we're in a situation where - for the short term at least - we have a club hierarchy + Moyes pulling in opposite directions and a team that looks like a dog's breakfast and are likely relegation candidates.

@Hinchcliffe's Corner

I’ve not seen any posts from you offering any debate or comment.

You only seem to troll me with your middle finger.

Grow up, you big baby!

The first rule of fight club........

Moyes will be running out of time with TFG is this form carries on.

Since the start of June we have scored 2 goals from open play and not kept a clean sheet.

5 defeats and 2 draws.

He needs to pull his finger out.
