Maybe, I just thought he was so poor all game. Maybe I'm overly harsh cause I thought he done so well last season. Just looked so out of his depth all game. Plus him being a natural ch can't be an excuse when his oir starting rb

Not agreeing with the original post but have to say I think we’re past the point now of saying he’s a centre half playing out of position. He’s our first choice right back and that’s where he’s played most of his games for us. I don’t think that’s a good thing, but the reality is he is effectively a right back now and has to be judged as one.

If Sheamus is fit Sunday id move Jake into CB and play Sheamus RB. If Myko is fit I'd have Garner RB and move Jake into center.Should be him and Tarky center back while Jarrad is out

Criminal from Moyes to not prioritise a full back because a makeshift one did OK there for half a season.

Moves loves playing CBs on the edges. Remember Lescott ? Played left back for so long

He was probably our best player, the few times our long balls got us forward were from his knock downs & flick ons, he stopped too much coming from his side of the pitch & made some crucial clearances.

Though I don’t see him as a fullback, he really battled for every ball and tried to keep the ball in their half.

Kin hell. In an absolute dire team performance you've managed to single out the one of the players who never stunk the place out.

Did fine for me, just wasn't helped by the diabolical midfield effort ahead of him with Gueye and especially Iroegbunam playing absolutely horribly. Having no right winger meant he was constantly doubled or even trebled up on, so was bypassed as if he wasn't there on those occasions. Thankfully though none of their efforts from his position came to anything though. He's a decent option as backup right back, currently forced to play every game as starting right back.

A disgusting state of affairs. If I were a season ticket holder now I'd be horrified after paying all that money to watch the game and being subjected to this from the club.
