2025/26 Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall

Mrs boood him off which surprised me. I thought he jogged around quite nicely though.
I now think if we signed a 23 year old Messi he'd be turned in to a klassen just by pulling that jersey on. Bring back Chang....bring back glory💯👌

They are always ott on every single player….both ways.

Roma

1: He delayed the pass to Barry and put it ahead of his left foot (hes right footed).

2: He fell over in the box when running with the ball.

3: Slow to release the ball and then surrounded by 3 players, lost the ball

Those were my 3 takeaways from the game and thinking why wasnt he in his usual position....oh because Gana was there.

Thought he was one of the best of a fairly uninspired bunch overall. Takes care of the ball well and can actually play some clever passes. Took a couple of really good corners as well.
I agree with you to an extent. He looked composed and wanted to direct our attacking play in the second half, but went missing quite a bit in the first half. In his defence, he was not the only player who went missing in the first half.

On the whole, I was encouraged by what I saw from him. The instance in which he held off Brendan Aaronsen and then turned was my favourite piece of skill from tonight's game. He will be a good signing for us, I feel.

If he's playing at 10, both Alcaraz & Grealish are better.

If he's playing at 8 then you have to drop Gana because you need the balance with Garner.

Not a signing i'd have made for a supposed European target in 1-2 seasons.

We needed a top class 6 in midfield.

We still do.

Not sure you can let players off because 'everyone else played crap as well'.
I was excited by his arrival and the performance against roma. But hes gonna have to up his game in a competitive game.
Loomed weak, wanted too much time on the ball and looked lost for the position he played in.

Great signing. But do we have any idea what to do with him? Has to play somewhere he can get the ball at his feet facing their goal. He shouldn’t be playing off the striker ffs and be the one pressing the CBs.

But have we the balls to play him a little deeper and get him on the ball?
