If we set up to draw and avoid defeat, don't be surprised when it finishes 1-0.

Lack of ambition and very negative set up irrespective of injuries, hope we learn from it. Players as much to blame as Moyes, they managed to flip the attitude around at half time with no change in personnel or shape.

That said, hope it's a wake up call to the recruitment team we very clear need some width.

If they need a wake up call after all this time then they should not be there in the first place. All it would show is a very poor sense of foresight and initiative.

Total shi- show all round tonight.
And we knew it was coming , Moyes & the recruitment team have lots to answer that is unacceptable.
Leeds look awful which is actually worse , the ref and his linesmen were terrible.
All in all a bad night .

Of the players ( that looked clueless to the system played in the 1st half ) N'diaye done well without any help , Garner done ok in an unfamiliar role.
But Jake O’Brien marginally MOTM as a stand in RB up against 2 speed merchants done very well , pushed forward when he could too.

As an aside - Neville and Carragher there have us lower midtable this season with the likes of Wolves, West Ham & Brentford in trouble, along with the promoted three. Seems to be the general consensus across the footy punters from what ive been seeing.

I reckon, depending on when exactly we get our acts together, that a top half finish is very achievable.

Honestly, did anyone expect anything differently? Moyes "has always been an extremely slow starter". In other words, he, like a lot of people here, don't care about any result until after the window closes. Crap defeatist attitude but I'm not running the show.

Surprised how many people saying it wasnt a pen. So many quick to jump on a refs back for doing his job. It was a pen he leaned into the ball that came from distance with his arm
It’s not illegal to lean bud

He’s a defender, he’s meant to get his body in front of the ball

His arms are by his side in a natural position
