Well it hasCan't believe the best crosser of a football in our side when I was 10 years old has caused us to be relegation fodder.
Last 3 months has been bliss. Bloody hate the season starting. No wonder Evertonians hate the football starting up again.
It's a recurring nightmare.
Diarra was linked with us and loads said he was overpriced. He may yet turn out to be a one game wonder but, given the way prices have gone this season, he doesn't look especially expensive now.Other teams don’t seem to have the same problems that our recruitment masterminds have. Sunderland brought in Diarra who ran the game for them on Saturday while we have Iroegbunem missing tackles and misplacing passes all over the place, no full backs, no right winger and Beto who couldn’t control a bag of cement.
I can’t believe the number of directors of football/recruitment staff we’ve been through in the last 8 years or so and still seem to find it mind blowingly impossible to sign footballers who make the team better. Even if you tried to run a football club as badly as Everton has been you’d think you’d still get something’s right by accident. It’s remarkable really.
We’ve not won a game in August since spurs away under Carlo…we throw 12 points away at the start if every seasonI'm so sick of starting every single season on the back foot. Will we get a win in August this season? I certainly hope so but after that performance I would say it is less than likely.
It's just a boring league Davek, just like being someone like Motherwell in the SPL you're just making up the numbers whilst the teams at the top are playing with a marked deckNo wonder Evertonians hate the football starting up again.

I dunno Davek, I think this season is a consolidation season whilst bedding in what looks to be young players that we're signing. Moyes is probably best for this part of our journey but I agree if we want to compete higher up we need a more dynamic manager with a more modern outlookWe need a new manager for a KO.
We need to break this cycle eventually or what is the point? I'm sure one of the usual suspects will be along to say it's going to take 3-5 windows (that seems to be the new mantra) but every window that passes just seems like same old, same old to me.It will play out the same as the last few.
We'll go into the international break in the bottom 3 even though we had 3 winnable games on paper.
Then we'll spend September, October and November hoping to quickly bed in any new players whilst trying to catch up to the teams above us.
Then we'll lose or draw loads of games in December because the squad has no depth.
And we'll eventually get out of the danger zone come early spring and canter to the end of season.
That's great apart from the fact that we've had to endure a mostly awful 6 or 7 months of an only 10 month long season.
Yeah, great fun. How about for once, we get our squad sorted in time for the season start so we can avoid all this bollocks and have something akin to a stress free season.
Just a thought.
