Dreadful all round.

Individually there was so much to dislike. The attitude was awful from the get go, no bite in our tackles, no bravery on the ball, the body language was atrocious. Some of the individual performances were absolutely rancid. Irogboenan was a statue in centre midfield whilst Gana seemed to evaporate in pursuit of the ball, JOB and Tarks looked scared and exposed. Skiliman looked disinterested, tried to do much and was playing for himself, and Beto looked like a brick in boots. KDH and Garner get a free pass for 6/10 performances. Keane was, true to form, abysmal, and it is hard to escape the evidence that he makes everyone around him worse: his hysterical decision making and laboured play spreads like a poison. I can't stand him.

TBH think Moyes has to take a lot of the blame for that and i thought he got a lot wrong tonight, from the set up, to the personnel, to the tactics. Surely with Keane we have to hide him in a back three? Surely Garner plays over Tim in centre mid and we play McNeill or the left back at left back? Surely Grealish and Barry are brought on earlier? What was most concerning was just how disorganised we looked off the ball - we seemed to have no clear shape. I'm surprised we tried to press so high, thought we would sit back more and break out of a block. We looked totally headless and disorganised in that respect and it gave them a lot of momentum. Very odd.

Chalking it down to a bad day at the office, but we have to show big improvements next week.

Mom was Alcaraz for me. Only player who wanted the ball, puffed his chest out and tried to get stuck in. Grealish a close second for actually putting his foot on the ball and playing footy. That was a positive, I suppose

I’m seething with that result. Not a pen for a start. Ball was deflected, his hand was behind his back, and the ball was going safely to Pickford. On top of that it was a poor team selection by Moyes, and formation. Leeds are crap and we will be the only team that loses to them.

How many defensive midfielders did we want to play?

Obvious that wasn’t the game for Beto after 10 mins.

1st half we couldn’t string a pass together or get out our own half but all our ball carriers were up the pitch and Gueye just can’t pass the ball.

How we didn’t start McNeil is shocking. He has been our best player for years and didn’t get off the bench. I’d have played him wingback, he has done it before.

Probably wide of the mark but it felt like Moyes did this to force the hand to buy some newer players.

Grealish must be questioning why he came to us.

Fuming we’ve had to wait until Monday night to play and don’t any again until Sunday.

Some very odd tactical decisions.

Shape off the ball was non-existent, which you'd have said was a minimum from a Moyes outfit

Rubbish performance .
Leeds battled more than us and on balance if anybody deserved to win it was them.
State of are bench .
For a prem team to have two keepers and basically 3 Players that will be in the under 21, One of which was off to Stockport a few weeks ago.
And Coleman who has more or less semi retired
That's just not on.
Moyes got it wrong first half.
Ref is a total tit,
that ball that we should have got a corner off?
half a dozen fouls not given.
That one win out of nine with that fella.

Away to a team just promoted. Their first (home) game of the season. They were definitely to go at us in a 100% barnstorming fashion. Did you expect anything less? We weathered that first half storm, and got into the game in the second half, only to be cheated by the Ref. Get real!
I’m getting poked by others for being a Moyes apologist! Get real? I agree with you about the second half and the pen decision. Absolutely. Leeds’ performance first half was predictable and for all of their energy they created little to nothing clear cut. We defended well at times and last ditch at others, but I certainly want us to protect the ball better than we did first half, and that is why I put the blame primarily on the players for the first 45. Manager can provide all of the tactics and instructions he wants but if professional players can’t take better care of the ball than ours did, the issue is them, first and foremost.

Some great comments mate but alcaraz was crap most of the game and he lost the ball leading to a penalty afterwards
