Hyperbole. Not sure I’ve said anywhere that he has nothing to do with who gets picked. My point was the use of the word disgrace was extreme, IMO. What was disgraceful was the first half performance. I put the players primarily at fault for that. No way that was the performance Moyes asked for in the first 45z

Point is, if the manager is not responsible for the performance of the players on the field that means a) hes not a very good coach because the players didnt learn what he supposedly taught or b) he's not a very good motivator because the majority of the players wilfully chose to ignore him. C) they were ouplayed by a better team with a better manager...this was not the case.

Never a penalty. The game is official ruined. Fans have waited patiently for this to be back and we have already seen some awful decisions in the first week. It’s simply not good enough.

Agreed. And I thought Leeds looked like how I expected them. Press like crazy but not able to do much after. We should have beat these and you could argue if that VAR never happened, we may have. We played the worse we’ve played in a long time and still had a shot.
