We too often look like a team that just doesn’t train with a ballThe key to passing is moving and showing for the ball by everybody, the players just don’t support one another.
A good side shuts a hostile crowd up.To all the negative bell whiffs: to start the 1st game at Elland Road with a hostile crowd was an immediate disadvantage, There’s 37 games left, sort a right back/winger, defensive Midder & possibly a striker to play off the shoulder then we’ll be sound.
We need to integrate Grealish, Barry & Aznou ( 5 games away) into 90 min football, only negative is Gana looks slightly off pace & think he’ll be targeted more this season with a hard press. Safe journey home blues.![]()

Don’t you think it’s a shame that it’s same old Everton and you would think they would learn after going through the same thing year after year. We can see it but the people at the top can’t. Why?To all the negative bell whiffs: to start the 1st game at Elland Road with a hostile crowd was an immediate disadvantage, There’s 37 games left, sort a right back/winger, defensive Midder & possibly a striker to play off the shoulder then we’ll be sound.

If that had been van Dick he wouldn't have give it.Everyone on the planet can see that's never a penalty, except for the ref and the 2 lads sitting in the VAR room.
See I don't disagree with you, but even Moyes and the squad changed the play style to get beto firing last season - he's not going to be a backs to goal striker over night, so why expect anything different now? Just play early balls over the top and through balls down the middle and he will create a chance. Of course though in order to do that you need to have the ball and do something with it. We were shocking, but if Barry or chermiti started the actual fruits of our labour would have been exactly the same. It's a bit like the chicken and the egg. He has got very few useful balls but every ball he did get stopped our possession immediately. The problem is that his first touch is non-existent. If you want to play a possession kind of football, he is useless. Since he cant hold a ball, has no linkup play, no first touch, everything stops with him. You basically play with 1 person less. If you want to play a striker like him, you need to play a very direct style of football but we lack pace on the wings for that. With KDH, Grealish, Ndiaye and Alcaraz we have attackminded players who like to have the ball instead of running after it the whole time (defensively or in attack). Beto is not the striker to play alongside those players. Not his fault, just not his qualities. I dont mean to bash him since I do think the guy has heart. He just isn't good enough for ehat we want to do.
Is that the same liner that played on in the 1st half when we should have had a corner cause the ball was out by 73 feet. The lino gave the pen. That's a joke
It's everywhere my friend - Thread 'The Transfer War of 2025 - The Excuse Makers Strike back!!!' https://www.grandoldteam.com/forum/...of-2025-the-excuse-makers-strike-back.122383/So you only joined last month and you're already fully aware of the bedwetting brigade ?.........
Scripted as is he would want 50/50 decisions to go the promoted teams way....I know we didn't play great but we didn't,t get a decision all nightYou said it was scripted.
Thats why the EPL picked itYou literally couldn't have picked a worse opening fixture. Away on a Monday night, live on TV, to a promoted side.
