Not having the hate for Beto tonight. He played poorly, sure, but he was given absolutely nothing. We were so poor in possession.

Garner at LB was such a hindrance tactically, O'Brien is good but not a RB long term. KDH was too quiet and got lost in the first half. Gana wasteful. Alcaraz was very poor and cost us the goal ultimately.

Beto has been garbage all pre season! To the point Moyes had to call him out and then tonight we were basically playing with a one man disadvantage...

The old writing was on the wall with that starting 11 , after our much anticipated rebuilding just KDH and Barry coming on at 86 min was ridiculous. I can’t recall being so disinterested in the first half of a first game of the season. Hopefully there’s a BMD/ HD effect to come.

The marginally better team won, but they didn't deserve to win. They (you, as I'm assuming you're a Leeds fan) will struggle this year.

They will indeed struggle this year, but they absolutely hammered us today , we were garbage, did their keeper make a save?

They play like that they'll go down , if we do we will join them.

Let’s be absolutely clear - that is a poor Leeds team and they’ll probably finish in the bottom 3.

You’ll do well to find a worse Everton performance - it was even worse than some of Dyche’s defeats.
Beto puts zero pressure on the opposition and has literally no technical ability.
The midfield was a confused mess of average players with zero pace.
The defence is a calamity waiting to happen.

I had low expectations tonight but that was shockingly bad.

To all the negative bell whiffs: to start the 1st game at Elland Road with a hostile crowd was an immediate disadvantage, There’s 37 games left, sort a right back/winger, defensive Midder & possibly a striker to play off the shoulder then we’ll be sound.

We need to integrate Grealish, Barry & Aznou ( 5 games away) into 90 min football, only negative is Gana looks slightly off pace & think he’ll be targeted more this season with a hard press. Safe journey home blues.
