That should have been a pen for forest
They only struggle to deal with it because they are too weak to dish out yellow cards. Mind you the half-wit pundits don't help. I heard one (with the main commentator agreeing) that it was too early in the game to give yellow cards for bad fouls in this afternoon'smatch. I didn't realise that there was a rule saying 'no cards in the first 15 minutes.'I think the rule change would be because referees are struggling to deal effectively with encroaching which let's be honest every team cheats at
A bit like the old days when the likes of Norman Hunter would go right through the centre forward in the first 5 minutes with no fear of a booking. They only struggle to deal with it because they are too weak to dish out yellow cards. Oh yeah, and everyone (not just the captains) were approaching/talking to the ref - yet another rule that won't be enforced and will be quietly forgotten about within a few weeks.
Very NRA approach.Luddites you lot.
VAR is not the issue.

VAR hasn't done anything to stop refereeing mistakes, plus as you saw against United last season against United, VAR officials showed foul on Young from completely wrong angle. At least with previous system, when Clattenburg put in that corrupt performance, he received backlash and didn't officiate and Everton game for 5 years. VAR has destroyed accountability for officials. As I was talking about on previous thread, bias amongst officials and people in media is far worse now, than it was in past. An example of such was when Nunez commuted 3 bookable offences and Dermot Gallager, said it was up to refs discretion to send him off. Yet justified Dalots sending off, based on letters of the law. I don't mind refs making honest mistakes which mostly balanced themselves out over course of season. But VAR is just being used to give certain teams decisions. Only time I was genuinely annoyed about a refs performance pre VAR was Clattenburgs. Everything else was just refs not seeing something or making honest mistake. Such as Rodwells sending off. None of the Palace players wanted DCL to be sent off, yet he was.Luddites you lot.

Makes for a nice story Leeds winning on their top flight return. I'm sure the Premier League bigwigs are chuffed with the outcome of this decisionIts completely scripted, no one can convince me that we have this many horrendous decisions against us because the people who are supposed to know the rules more than anyone don't apply these rules correctly.
WWE is more of a competition than the premier league and it aint even close.
Correct, all about the story telling mate.Makes for a nice story Leeds winning on their top flight return. I'm sure the Premier League bigwigs are chuffed with the outcome of this decision
