Yes to making changes earlier. Completely agree. To make changes earlier when we’re getting overrun by a promoted side. To not play Beto cos he’d sh1te
Not playing Beto we do not have any better options.

He is what he is, should of been let go at the end of the season. Yes we had injuries but that doesn't excuse that performance, inept tactically, he let the game drift hoping to scrounge a point, does that sound like any other recent manager.
Yup, they deffo matter.Every summer it is the same
“Pre season friendlies do not matter”
maybe they do if you’re so bad you lose pretty much every game
“plenty of time to sign players”
maybe not if you want to compete in the first few games of the season and avoid playing catch up
Why have we spent £30m on a striker and signed Grealish to be subs?
The manager is choosing the players to try and sign, no one else. He didn’t want to work with a DOF, this is all on him.Blame the manager as much as you like but the recruitment meant the manager had a terrible pre season. The trip to the tournament in the US was a waste of time. And the lack of early signings meant we were not ready to play
Bad pre seasons mean bad starts. I find it incredibly people still argue against it. Everton in the last 5 years are the perfect case study of why pre season and being organised matters if you want to start properly.
And so he shouldHe'll no doubt blame the lack of signings for that woeful performance
You make the best of what you've got. If we'd pushed up on them from the off we'd have won that game. And so he should
The fact of the matter is he very much is. Angus Kinnear and Nick Hammond are not the ones deciding which targets we are going afterBut the fact of the matter is he’s just not?
Barry isnt close to PL ready
