Sorry but if thats the level for penalties given then there should be loads given. Never a penalty on any day no matter what colour you wear. His arm never left his side and was in a natural position end of story. How well paid officials don't overturn it i don't know, well i do because the goal fits the narrative of the we need the promoted teams to do well this season. VAR has let itself down again. Don't get me wrong we were awful and they were the better side but that means nothing with decisions like that.

Couldn’t head the ball, hold the ball, pass the ball, poor movement, just a calamity in everything he did.

The best summary of Beto’s ability was Ronny Goodlass, who said ‘Beto controls a ball further than I can kick it.’ Really nowhere near good enough for being our number 9. Moyes must realise this as well given he nearly always picked Calvert-Lewin over him when he was fit.

Mate. The point is he gave it as a pen with his eyeballs. That already decides it's fate. If he not given it it VAR wouldnt have overturned it either.
