2025/26 Beto


Wonder if he is hiding a knock now he has competition? He’s never been a technical wizard, but something seems very off.

Not helped by the fact we have stopped playing to the strengths he showed last season and he’s receiving passes with snow on them.
 

Feeding on scraps, did he even have a touch?! Only thing I can remember was the foul at the end.

Just going to need goals from other sources e.g. Grealish, Ndiaye, Alcaraz and whatever the defenders can provide from set plays.
 
Lacking in every department today for me, even if you wanna say the service was bad.

Not a single ball stuck when played to him. Didn't even see him making decent runs. Every press he made from the front he might aswell have been pointing where he was going as it was that obvious and slow.

For me, although Barry is young, he has to get a chance over Beto

Moyes was happy with the 0-0 and Barry probably would've stayed unused sub.

If it's similar on Sunday then Barry needs to come on at the hour mark as it is first game at BMD and far more attacking threat will be expected.
 
Genuinely could have played with 10 men tonight such was Betos impact (or lack of).

I’ve got more time for him than a lot of people but he didn’t even seem to be closing down with any intent.
