Today’s Football 25/26 Season

As the racism thread has been closed in light of Friday nights issue at anfield, here will have to do.

A 47 year old man has been banned from every football ground nationwide.

Dealt with very quickly.

I remember the post-match interview they mentioned "yeh a ban from Anfield", I was thinking just Anfield???

They've set a marker down, and rightly so. Football is a product, and has $billions involved, we'll see swift and determined action like this more regular I reckon.

Did you not see the penalty not given against the RS? Was it MacAllister jumping into/onto a Bournemouth player in the box?

I didn't see it on MOTD because they wouldn't want to offend the RS and I didn't watch it live on Sky. I only saw it (probably on here on this thread) because someone posted it online.
I don't watch the RS unless they are playing us...

Quick, but is it legally possible to do, he hasn't been found guilty yet, while the club are doing the right thing they really should be sorting the stewards out at the pit, apparently he had been a nuisance for a long time, anybody who has had the misfortune to visit there will tell you about the heavy handedness of them, the complete indifference to the rain of coins, urine, pies, food, full bottles, flares etc and if you complain it's just a shrug of the shoulders

Charged and bailed, he's in the system waiting for his court date. Chances are he goes guilty and minimises the harm it does to him, he'll get a banning order of say 3 years (not that they mean a great deal, there's plenty banned that go the match country wide) and he'll be another footnote of hooliganism and the knuckle-dragging bad old days.
What troubles me is they're now primed to get on their high horse.

I don't think the same burden of proof is required for a stadium ban as a criminal proceeding in a court of law. Even without knowing what was said he's clearly being over aggressive and confrontational in the moment - there's no need for it whatsoever.
