How did Doughty play? I’m excited to see if he can get himself some regular game time this year. Few clips I’ve seen he has a howitzer of a left foot cutting in from the right.
He played on the left and didn't really touch the ball. I don't think you could take much of anything from the game for any player tbh.

I actually worked with his uncle, he said his Brother has been training that kid to be a professional footballer from the minute he was born. He signed his first sponsorship deal at 8 years of age or something stupid. He even changed his surname to make him more marketable.
Scary isn’t it. My mum taught a former Everton player when he was like 6 or 7, kid sat and ate crayons all day but come parents’ night his dad was just “it’s fine, he’s going to be a footballer” and just wanted to talk about his football and whether the school was doing enough to nurture his football talent.
I think this ^ but there is an outside chance that he has the secret Tyler Onyango contract extension clause too. Unlikely but you never know with us.
