TV Series

Just finished the first episode of The Bear. Possibly one of the most stressful pieces of television I've ever watched. Is it all like this?

Smoke - watched the first few episodes but stopped as the relationship between the step-kid and the protagonist was boring/annoying. Is it worth re-igniting? (ba-dum, tschh)

Twisted Metal - binged the first series as it was fast-paced knock-about fun. Second series isn't as much fun so far so I'm considering binning it off unless it drastically improves on the comedic violence.

Smoke worth watching for the last 1.5 episodes. The step kid isnt in it much.

Smoke was a good watch.
I thought it got better by the episode but the car crash scene resulting in a few minor cuts was absurd.
yeah that was a bit weird. I thought after the car crash in the middle he was concussed and imagining everything.
Was a good show but at one point i thought it was going to be outstanding and it didn’t quite pay off

I enjoyed it. The performance by Egarton is up there with the very best.
i was kinda expecting the cop to go down as well and there was a few things unanswered but I don’t mind that so much.
yeah, it wasn’t perfect by any means, but I’m ok with that. Both the cop in charge and the attractive one were wrong uns. I think it’s all set for a second season…

Watched 2 series of the Recruit on Netflix which was ok - now started the first season of The Night Agent, also passable. Oh and after talking about Mindhunter I went back and watched it again, bloody awesome.
