2025/26 2025/26 Season: How's It Going?

Sorely disappointed when the RS scrambled 2 late goals. But it looks as though City have sealed the title and Sunderland should be in the top 6. Wolves and Burnley for relegation. That's my take so far.

I still don’t think we have anyone that can step in and do the job Gana can do. It’s why I keep and will keep banging the Brownhill on a free drum tbh. He’s the same type of player, high energy, presses all over the pitch. If Gana comes out this team now we are wide open in that area.
I think KDH can be that sort of player if required. He's high-energy, has great positional sense and can block, tackle and intercept. Asking him just to sit deep is wasting some other attributes but I think we'd manage with him in that role. Especially if it's at a time when other teams are missing key players.

KDH’s strengths are more on the ball than off it. He does press well, but in different areas to Gana.

Expecting us to bring in 1 maybe 2 more permanent signings and then 2 to 3 loans so I think we will have the squad needed to perform

Hoping to see Harrison Armstrong breakthrough this season, assuming we don’t loan him out. He’s our most exciting prospect

Think anything around 10th will be a par performance but with a few teams having to handle Europe for the first time we could push on further.

Excited for the season ahead

Think 8th is top end for us expect spurs and man utd to improve a lot, we certainly should be able to finish above the lines of Fulham Brentford,Brighton West Ham and possibly Bournemouth.
A lot will be the final couple of weeks of the window

Agree we can't expect Spurs and Utd to be as bad this year. Frank will improve Spurs. Bournemouth are a good side. They went toe to toe with the RS the other day. Palace will do well, I think, unless they lose Eze and Guehi.

A lot of teams without mega budgets struggle to juggle Europa and the prem. Newcastle might also drop off a bit if they don't sort Isak out. I think we'll finish mid-table and would hope to get top half personally, but I'd love to be proved wrong and see us at least challenge for Europe.

Doesn't matter how old I get, the start of a new season is always exciting.

Totally clean slate and all things are possible

Allez Les blues

Hows the 25/26 season going? Good for me at moment with Haalands first 2 goals for Golden Boot bet. Hopefully pay for my Season Ticket next year. 😄
