Staying at Mom's, last night I went to bed but was confronted by this thing on the wall, my Mom managed to hit him but he fell down by the bed!! 😲, spent the night on the sofa!!

The family dog was put down today. He was born in early 2010 and my folks picked him up in the spring of the same year, so we had 15 years with him, he was a source of comfort for me (and my family) so often. He made us laugh, and of course he sometimes made us a bit mad but laugh at the same time. He wouldn't hurt a fly and was an utter delight (in the main). Even though I knew it was coming (given his age) I'm devastated, I shockingly lost one of my best mates earlier this year and I've also lost another great mate today. I loved him so much :(

Worst thing in the world losing your best mate, look after yourself 💙

My thoughts are with you. Understand your pain, we had our 14 year old Labrador put to sleep a few months ago. Whole family are heartbroken as I’m sure you are. Treasure your memories and take care of yourself mate.

So sorry mate. It's awful losing such a good friend and companion like that. Steady on.

Thanks mate - it might sound daft to some but it feels like losing a family member/ close friend.
Not daft at all mate, they are a big part of your family and day to day life. As they say, man’s best friend and when they go they leave a big hole in your life. Shed many a tear every time they go.

Wish you all the best Paris, take care.
