Championship Thread 25/26 Season

He played well.
Good result for you that .
Look a decent team there if you could add one or two more.
We really need a keeper, we sold Palmer to Ipswich last Jan and the 2 we have now have come from the academy and either not very good, when they gave out the numbers out this week no one got the number one so hopefully one coming in. We also bought a defender from Brum yesterday, Kristien Bielik and got on loan Toby Collyer from Man U

Watched Wednesday v Stoke today, have to say I was impressed with Stoke,Mark Robbins has built a decent team during the summer, there was a lad called Sorba Thomas, he tortured the Wednesday RB all game.
Wednesday on the other hand....not great.

Please, please beat Wrexham @Littlesue
I didn't used to mind Wrexham, I lived there for a few years, one of the lads I worked with followed them everywhere, even when they struggled to fill a coach up, so I wanted a bit of success to go there way, after watching " welcome to Wrexham and some of the bellends on that I kind of went off them, for a place that was full of rs and United fans they all suddenly changed

Sums my position up nicely. Can you remember how many they had when we went there for the Worthington Cup by any chance?

Wrexham's success should be acknowledged, but I just find them to be a little tedious. They are a team built on hype who have managed to gather momentum in winning promotions, meaning they have picked up lots of casual supporters along the way. I cannot see them challenging for promotion this season, but I think they will find themselves comfortably away from any relegation troubles.

Having watched the highlights, it is tough to pick a team who will dominate this season. Yes, it is still early doors but I was expecting one of the relegated teams to get their seasons off to a flying start, yet they have all faltered a little.

Stoke are leading the pack at present and scored a lovely winning goal against Southampton earlier today, but I do not see them as promotion challengers. Maybe Coventry can maintain their momentum? I stand by my prediction that QPR will be relegated this season, with today's dreadful defending only reaffirming my view.
