Season tickets arrived but people can’t download on Android any tips?

Piss take really isn't it?

If I didn't have a smart phone for work I wouldn't have one - as is, when I retire I won't be able to go the match.
Yes it is. Me and my brother have asked for cards and they said they will give us an answer in 10 days, that was last week.
Trouble is now, we got in electronically for the Roma game and they will probably ask how we did that.

The lad in front of us scanned his dad in, (I think it was his dad). So he scanned his phone, his dad went through the turnstile, then he scanned his phone again and he went through.

My lad got our season tickets today, Village st, both in his name
He forwarded the email to me from his iphone to my Samsung so i added both to my Google wallet and hes got both on his iphone wallet as well

To get a physical card we were told there had to be a medical reason why one was required and there were loads of hoops to jump through to get one. Including supporting statements etc.

They seem to be making it up as they go along.

I've got a newish smart phone but Google wallet doesn't work on it. They told me I couldn't have a physical card because I'd previously entered a game using a digital ticket, which isn't even true - I've never used a digital ticket for a game.

I've challenged this but not heard back yet.

Yeah, I originally thought this was an Everton thing to link to new tech because of the new stadium. It was actually a decision voted in by the Premier League.
Would be interested to know which clubs (if any) voted against it.
Same. Villa have something on their website basically saying if you're phone doesn't support the latest tech, you've got to get a new phone. Seen a few Villa fans complaining about it. Just don't see how this is acceptable. I'm debating opening a case with the supporters ombudsmen.

Also, in that article I linked to above, it says the new digital ticketing rules that the clubs voted on come into affect next season and:

"The remaining 30% can be issued at the club’s discretion, allowing provisions for supporters who are unable to use digital tickets."

Sounds like Everton are doing their best to keep it well below the 30%

Being told to get a new phone, after you've spent £700+ on a ST, is over the top. Should be some case against that.
It's like the missus saying you're not coming in here until you get rid of that old thing....is apparently what a friend told me

They finally replied about my Grandsons ticket, they said he should receive a digital ticket this week.

They are sending an 8 year old a digital ticket, no he doesnt own a mobile phone.

Im 100% gone after this season, I cant be dealing with this level of greed.

I'm thinking we should start raising this with the football fans ombudsmen: https://www.theifo.co.uk/

It's not just about clubs, legislation is being pushed through and a lot of venues are taking this upon themselves to have stricter controls about who is attending.

Is it a cheeky cash grab too? Undoubtedly, however, it's not going to be just PL clubs at the end of the day, it will apply to everything.

Time will tell, people will revolt in their own way. And then comes the fingerprints for travelling abroad. Looking forward to that.. not!
